Parquet flooring is the term applied to geometrically patterned wooden block flooring. Small solid wood or engineered wood parquet blocks are laid down in a pattern to achieve a unique look, which has long been associated with prestige and luxury. As the parquet flooring blocks can be laid in any pattern, this gives you the complete design flexibility to create a look to suit your project. One of the many attractions of parquet flooring is that is 100% solid European Oak or Ash yet, due to the fact that shorter lengths are easier to source, it is a much more cost-effective alternative to our core range. It is also extremely easy to maintain and boasts excellent durability properties. Unique Bespoke Wood oak or ash herringbone parquet flooring available in both unfinished solid wood parquet blocks and factory finished engineered wood herringbone parquet flooring blocks options, with a variety of colors and styles available.
Unfinished Oak Parquet BlocksWhen we talk about our unfinished flooring products, we mean that the flooring has been selected and graded by hand and precision-machined, but no wood flooring finishes have been applied. The result is an untreated product which should be sanded on site, to remove any minor fluctuations in height between the parquet flooring blocks. The flooring can then be hand-finished with hardwax oil or lacquer by you or your joiner, thus reducing your up-front costs. We supply unfinished solid wood parquet flooring and unfinished engineered wood parquet flooring more of that we can supply unfinished parquet blocks with wire brushed, hand scraped or sawn surface all you will need just to apply coating once it laid.
