Entering this airy, light-filled modern interior design home in Manchester
The transformation of 3 bedroom spacious flat in Manchester was guided by the owners wish for home to fit for the 21st century. The overall interior design establishes a clever merge of classic and contemporary aesthetics. Achieving continuity between three bedroom, 2 floors, stair case and hallway areas has been a major focus of the project. In designing the interior, the designer set out to complement the architectural vision of the house with the timeless and authentic presence of Traditional European Oak Herringbone Parquet wood flooring and wood staircase treads. Herringbone Parquet wooden flooring and engineered wood stair treads has been finished with high quality eco oils and waxes.
Bespoke stair treads and risers has been produced to match the finish and colour of our "Oak Natural" herringbone parquet flooring. Stair treads has been fitted to metal staircase frame, handrails has been finished to match the parquet and wooden stair treads.
For interest, the interior designer played with texture, such as mixing fabric upholstery with wood, glass, and metal. In fact, the designer ensured that the living room on the lower ground opens out to the balcony, which gives a feel of space and light.
